I have used the Snap Hdbase-t extenders with optical return. Converts to analog. Used with cable boxes in the rack and audio to input on Sonos Connect. Or in other cases amps.
but that optical out would be only from the source connected to that specific extender right? what I was trying to do is to extract audio from the ARC coming from the TV.....
