I know of no direct way to do this, but if you teach the code to an early Pronto type remote, you can see the code in the editor. I carry a TS1000 for such purposes but the Marsntz RC5200 is even better for this. Editing software for each is on this site.

How about confining this discussion to the other thread? It's maddening to have essentially one discussion going in two threads.

As an example of how crazy-making that can be, imagine that this thread has fallen to the second page of thread listings, but I had not posted the URL of the other thread, to give you a clue of where to look. How the heck are you going to find it?
