I worked for an AV company in 2005 and we installed a demo theater and equipment in some peripheral areas- the theater was getting a Vidikron projector and it was great, but the remote had 'RUNCO' on it.
Same company, different product line.
Think Denon/Marantz or Onkyo/Integra (Or Toyota/Lexus).
Even more interesting, most Runco products were somebody else's gear under the hood.
The Runco plasmas were rather sloppily modified Panasonic Pro displays. Lots of hot glue and poorly soldered wires to be found.
