Mine are in stand-alone mode, and don't seem to like using the same ID at the extender end. No matter, all dealt with by a few tweaks of PEP.

Turning lights on and off feels disproportionately satisfying, and no wondering whether Alexa will hear you properly or require silence in order to hear you at all - both problems I've seen elsewhere in the (too) early-adopters' World of Voice Control!
