I wrote "He needs one analog, the rest IP." He had written "Need 7 IP inputs, 1 analog input." Those two are the same thing.
Your idea solves the problem, but it's not clearly presented. You totally left out that the solution is to rethink the situation, to flip it and convert the one analog camera to IP. Then a straight IP-only NVR can be used.
Instead you said "should work for your one camera that needs to be IP," which just happens to be the opposite of what he had said.
