Fins, does that mean that a signal that would be shown in Europe as SD and therefore PAL will play in the US if it's simply HDMI in Europe? Is there just one HDMI standard, that's the same in the US and Europe? That might be so, and maybe even obvious. I just haven't heard the question asked before.
