Philips sent me a 9400 for testing. I got one that had the screen filter inverted so the viewing angle was off. They sent me another unit in exchange and that one had the page button issue. I immediately opened it up and reheated the solder joint. I used it for testing PEP2 only as I did not like the feel of the unit (but I loved the metal wheel).

Too bad they disabled scripting on the 9300 as I really like that form factor. :-(

The other thing about the 9400 is no speaker so you only get beeps and cannot use Sound files.

The Lithium batteries in these remotes like to stay charged. I keep my 9600's on the dock usually. Over the years, I think I've had to replace 3-4 batteries.
