Recently I've had a few of my higher end contractors ask about some type of camera system for the job site.
I know there was a thread about it here at some time, but couldn't find anything.
I believe ICRealtime had something that used cellular on a single camera at one point.
I'm wondering what you guys are using/ suggesting.
One thought would be to befriend the neighbor and pay to use their internet possibly but then again most neighbors hate the noise, dust, etc. of construction and end up pissed at the builder and or owner........
I've seen some on Amazon, etc. but looking for real world experience.

I know that you are the "AV" guy but there are services/companies out there that already do this as their sole business that cater directly to construction firms. Don't cobble together some contraption that isn't really designed to do this.

I work on commercial sites where they have RF cameras that are either mounted to poles that are cemented into 5 gallon buckets or they have magnet bases that they can just stick on to steel beams around the site. The cameras broadcast back to a recorder in their construction office and then out to the internet. The builder can just bring the system and cameras along to their next site and just throw the cameras out wherever they want.
