Whats the scenario when 6 months later, someone wants to add a source or display? Does the whole driver need redone or is it an easy task? Not asking to be snide, asking because I wanted to know how that's done.
If there is any chance at all of the system expanding later, you order a switch larger than needed and have Blackwire configure the extra ports for the potential displays and sources. Then when you need to add a source or display, you just order the receiver or transmitter.
Black wire doesn’t rewrite the driver each time for customers. The drivers are already built to allow for expanding a system. In Elan all I have to do is name the new zone or source. Actually, the source names itself when I assign the source driver.
