SC or LC connections are the most common on fiber and they make adapters for when you need to change between the two. As mentioned earlier in the thread, MM (multi-mode) fiber is what is going to be common inside of a home - with OM3 & OM4 being the current cost effective product. Again as Peter already mentioned.

ANY company that is putting out product with proprietary connections, is an automatic fail! I will 100% refuse to use it, no matter who it is. There is absolutely no point in someone doing that BS. And I will not support it, period. (Very strong opinion on that).

I still do not have a fiber termination kit. So when I need to use fiber, I'm ordering pre-terminated lengths from suppliers. Since you can get them cheap in most any length you want, from many different vendors.
