Spoke with a cablevision tech and they say there is still no way to bridge the router or bypass it to use a proper router. They told us the only way we can own the network is to get a second modem that will be for internet only and keep the A1 separate for video services.

As far as the video service and boxes themselves, I hear they arent reliable. Spoke to a few users and have read some DSLReports topics on multiple issues.

We've told our clients to stay away when we do a fully integrated system. We install equipment that will give them all the streaming sources they need so aside from the updated GUI I don't see the benefit.
