Here's the search I use. I see a 15G (identical to the C2) for $19 and an 18G (identical to the RF version of the C2, the C3) for about $30, both of which are excellent considering these originally sold for $150 and $250 respectively.
The mx900 can do both. In RF mode it sends commands to an RF receiver which turns them into IR so it can be used from another room.. in closed cabinets.. etc.
What does the RF version bring to the table? Does it also need an RF receiver?nevermind.. found this..

each button can have both a regular press and long press and each could have a different behavior.
Do the JP1 remotes allow this?
I have about 20 extras myself, but am unwilling to part with any of them.
