Over the years URC has been known to give out the EDITOR software to owners in certain circumstances, depending on the particular situation. I presume this is what they gave that owner. IIRC, owners used to be able to register their remote's serial number and download the Editor software directly from URC's website.
They never ever give out CCP though.
I've heard of cases where they do give out CCP. I don't really care if they do or do not. I do not appreciate them telling an end user I can give it to them, but then tell us that we become their support path. The end user then gets pissed with us and not URC when we decide not to hand it out. It's a BS policy.
