Assuming you were not running a RAID config on the DVR, if 32 TB of storage can't get you enough time, I highly doubt she would want to pay for cloud storage.
Just 30 TB costs about $300 per month in the cloud with Drive. I don't think dropbox even has plans that large.

The best bet would be:

1) Looking at doing an onsite or offsite NAS. You can get a 12 bay Synology NAS with 12 10TB HD for less than $5,000. That would give you 120 TB of storage if done in RAID 0 (no redundancy).

2) Look at how you are currently storing your video. 32TB and you can only get 6 months? How many cameras are in this system? At what rez? 24/7 recording? High frame rate?
Unless this is a 32 camera system with 8MP cams, I would look at seriously changing your recording parameters. Something ain't adding up!

[note]:
I have 4 8mp cams on a 2TB drive, that have about 2 months of recording usually [that is 15fps, motion rec, low compression]. So 32TB should get me 12 months with 16 cams if I lower the fps to 10.
