I'm looking into Ring and I see scads of complaints about the delay. Nobody seems to have any concept of how long the delay is; the best I see is "the video starts with the UPS guy walking away." Obviously that's unacceptable, but do you know how long it generally is, or does it vary? Is there a solution to it?

The Cloud subscription itself might be enough for me not to use it, since it turns a hundred dollar product into a three hundred dollar product in a few years without improving it one bit!
