It's not going to happen. I have been repairing TVs since 1977. I think there were only 2 lcd panels that were cheap enough to justify purchasing for an out of warranty set. They were LGs, and that was 2-3 years ago. Even if Sony carried the panel, it would likely cost >$2K. I wish I had better news, but you might be able to sell circuit boards on Ebay as Impaqt suggested. You might score a few hundred $. The panel itself is not repairable.
