You can couple QS Wireless. I am also not aware of any differences in the QS wireless drives, Triathlon (battery) is a different story.
My mistake... I skimmed the thread quickly and thought it was a question of Triathlon battery powered vs. QS Wired.
You're correct that there's no difference in the shade hardware except for the RF dongle required to be added for wireless.
