I'm looking for a code to change between the standard audio format and Dolby. My client wants to go from all channel Dsp on his Sony ES AVR and afd(auto format decode).
The Sony ES doesn't like it when its in the Dolby audio format inside the Directv receiver and he uses the all channel dsp, nothing changes on the speakers. If you go into the Directv settings and change to standard format then all channels work. I think it's a Sony dsp thing. I've never had an issue with other AVRs when wanting to use all channel dsp.
I may try a macro but it could be very unreliable depending where he's at inside the Directv........I may be looking for something that doesn't exist!
