Its essentially the same and Hik works with Luma app and vice versa.
In the past I tried to use the Hikvision app and found it sucked pretty bad - at least in terms of offering a somewhat intuitive app for a customer that won’t surely result in a call when they get a new phone and cant enter in the right DNS settings.
Youre telling me Luma isnt any more intuitive? I’m asking because I haven’t used the Luma app
