My client wants to add a hard wired Genie Mini to an existing DirecTV system, which is currently comprised of a DVR (HR24 I think) and a wireless Genie Mini.

The new Mini location would be about 275-300 ft away from the DirecTV splitter. I'm not sure about distance with these units. I'm assuming, because it uses something similar to Mocha, that it has better range. I'm asking here because I want to get real work feedback and not the canned answer from DirecTV

Can anyone confirm? I have to have the landscaper run conduit under driveway if we go this route and would like to make sure it actually works!!
