I have a secured PO Box that I use for all mail at the post office.
I pay cash or check for most transactions, leaving the card for only things I have to.
I refuse to give personal information out and when a seller insists for a purchase, I decline and the purchase doesn't happen.

In all my years, I have only had my card info stolen twice. Both last year.
The 1st time was at the Best Western in Fayetteville, TN last year. I had 100% proof it was them (and I found a few other people they did it to as well). The credit card company got me a new card & refunded the charges but didn't care about the place that did it. Nor did my bank. And when I called the local police department, they seemed to not care either - just file a report (not even a "we will look into it").
It is no wonder there is so much credit card theft these days. High reward with hardly any risk. Even if you get caught, no one seems to f^n care! WTF!!!

The 2nd time was a few months ago. I still can't figure out where/how that one happened.
