Time to go back to the metal 'charge plate' that need to be used to imprint the slip. Doesn't need to have carbon paper, but it might be safer.

Does anyone know how strong the signal needs to be for the RFID cards? Never thought it would be a good solution- anything that can be read from a short" distance can be read form slightly farther away, barring the need for physical contact.
