I  expect this has fallen off the news except for locally, but still a big catastrophe and very disruptive here locally.  The freeway was finally reopened about 2 weeks after the mudslide allowing me to have access to some projects, but much of Montecito where most damage took place is still shut down and closed off.

I worked at a project today that's around 10 miles past the majority of the damage and was surprised to find that they had mud and debris flow all around the property and had already had a crew of 7 working for 10 days to clean up and are only about half way done.

Many of my clients homes are still inaccessible and completely without utilities.
