The problem with the iTunes App Store is that when the app prompts you to update, you then go to the app store and it just says open. This is a known problem with the Apple App Update service. You then have to select update, then update all, and swipe it down. Then Sonos will show up in the update.

As for the update itself it is way better:

When you had rooms grouped, on the main rooms page, you can now see the name of each zone and what group it is in. previously, it would show the room everything was grouped to and a +2 or +3, etc. This is now fixed. People would complain that they were losing zones, because they couldn't remember where the grouped it too.

The tab bar at the bottom is now static. This improves overall navigation. Its all about clicks to action. The clicks to action need to be minimized to improve the customers experience. Sonos actually preached this when they added favorites back in the day.

Now I can stop getting calls from my clients when they are stuck on the now playing screen.

The new update is a huge improvement....thanks for listening Sonos :)
