Probably the only good thing about living in New Mexico:
- No winter storms
- No ice storms
- No extended power outages or rolling blackouts (3x 2-4 hour power outages in last 21 years)
- No fires (directly impacting metro areas)
- No mudslides
- No huricanes
- No floodings
- No tornados
- No earthquakes
- No volcano erruptions
- No heatwaves (extreme, not the 102° few times a year)

We're boring that way... and I like it.

You leave off these facts?

Albuquerque, for example, the state's largest city, had an estimated crime rate of 775 violent crimes per 100,000 residents, more than twice the national rate. New Mexico residents were also among the nation's poorest in 2013, with a median household income of $43,872 and a poverty rate of nearly 22%
