Floods and mud are the worst.
Keep in mind, while the Thomas fire in Ventura/Montecito was very bad, the Santa Rosa Tubbs fire (In late Sep/early Oct) destroyed 2900 buildings, some of them commercial, but most of them residential. So many people lost their homes in SR (and appx 40 people died). The state has been hit hard...and then there is Houston and Florida who were sandblasted by hurricanes earlier. Lots of folks hurting in the last year
