Right- they think in terms of power, lights, switches and motors. They have no idea about why they shouldn't run new wiring adjacent and parallel to LV cabling. They're often lazy and opportunistic, too- they think its OK to use any hole that's drilled as a route for their wiring, even if it was drilled by someone else and has a pull cord passing through it.

Right now we're blessed with such a person who, for instance, went at the electrical plans when the city told us that the amount of current we'll need for the restaurant is beyond what the city can supply. She started by cutting the LED trim lighting near the floor. No clue. She was stopped and we're waiting for the city to run more power. This is City of Los Angeles and we're downtown.

What can be done wrong on a job is beyond amazing.
