I have a problem with a FIOS cable box and an HDMI switcher. The bottom half of the screen tears once in a while similar to a PC game running on underpowered GPU. The other devices are fine with the same switcher and TV. Swapped the cable, same thing. At this point I am thinking problem with the cable box. I can't easily swap it since the client has a lot of content that he wants to keep. Before I start looking into HDMI or Component recording for him do you guys think this might be caused by something else? The bottom half of the image moves to the right for a second every once in a while.
