It depends on a number of factors like how many seat, rows, height of ceiling, etc. Dolby has guideline about placement but their diagrams only cover one row of seating. They do say in their guides to angle the speakers if you need to for coverage of the listeners. I find this is necessary in many homes due to the shorter ceilings. With tall ceilings and depending where they are placed this can vary. Triad should be ab e to help with all this if you can give a layout of the room. I think their new rotating Silver will work in a lot of situations.
