ive had this issue with sonys and samsungs. omebody else started a topic where they said they had this issue with sony. this is what i responded on that one

I’ve been having that issue with Sony and Samsung TVs where they won’t turn on after being off for while. But it’s only when trying to use a discrete on command. If you use a remote with a toggle power or push the button on the tv it will turn on then the discrete commands will work for a while. The Sony’s seem to be an issue with android os. When it locks up, after I power it up it does that android start up animation. Very frustrating.
