I have had similar experiences with the same equipment. 2 weeks ago I had a Samsung 78" stop responding out of no where. Rebooted RMC, swapped RMC, still nothing. Rebooted the processor and it started working again.

Had another one where the actual IR emitter failed. Swapped in a new emitter and everything worked again.
