I don't do Crestron so I have some probably ignorant questions. I hope I can point in a useful direction.

What happened a couple of weeks ago?

I'm not sure but a couple weeks ago only applies to one of the houses, the other house this has been happening for a while
What does Crestron say about this? What information would you provide to them that you haven't provided here? I haven't contacted them yet since I haven't been able to get to site to troubleshoot. Only information I would provide them are the troubleshooting steps (see below)

Does "controlled by Crestron" mean a Crestron component sends IR signals? If so, it sounds like it's important that the OEM remote works. Yes a Crestron component is sending the IR signals. The house with the 16x16 we tried multiple different IR buds and room controllers (with a room controller that worked on another TV) and no luck with the problem TV.

If IP control, the OEM remote's ability to control shouldn't matter. And I don't know of any Samsungs with RS232 control, so I suppose that's not it.

Are any of the TVs connected to the internet? Have any updates of anything happened around the time the problem started? Are the same modules being used to control each and every TV? Is there such a thing as updates of modules? The house with the 8x8 his TV may be connected to the internet, I'm not sure as he likes to adjust stuff, the house with the 16x16 No the TV is not connected to the internet. Yes the same module (IR Driver) is used to control all 13 TV's. No the module cannot be updated unless I modify the module in the program (which hasn't been done)
You can't fix stupid
