UN75MU6300F USB to RS232 control

Here is picture of the USB to RS232 adapter. It has USB connector at one end and 3.5mm socket at the other. Windows did not recognize the devise so I am assuming it is a Samsung proprietary devise. I tried other USB to RS232 adapters and they did not work. Looks like you have to use the Samsung supplied adapter. We got one from our Samsung dealer.

I followed all the instructions for setting up the display from above posts. I plugged it into one of the uSB ports on the display and at first I was receiving garbage back from the display. I switched to the other USB port (top one) and then it worked as expected.
