so you feel just as comfortable with that as you do with a physical drive on your network? My first thought was, what if I'm programming on a site with no access to internet?
Yes. We have been using Egnyte for years. Every time i buy a new laptop i just install egnyte and all my data is back.
Data is stored in the cloud and your PC. Syncing happens both directions so if you edit a file at a job with no internet connection it will save to your PC. Then when you get back to the office where you have internet connectivity the file will sync to the cloud.
If you run into "which version is the current version" or "i just screwed the file up" issues you can use the version history feature and select a known/good file.
Also...you will find that not having internet is less of an issue these days. Just about every customer has it plus our phones are all hotspots now.
