I have a bed rug liner in a Tacoma I installed 8 years ago. The box has a rolltop cover. The liner is still in excellent condition. I don't move gravel but I do move lumber, boxes, bags of compost, etc. If I need to climb into the box I can do so without hurting my knees. Heck, it's comfortable enough I could sleep on it.
