Hello!

My elderly neighbour's universal remote battery died and when she replaced the battery, it lost its programming. Her late husband programmed the thing and she has no idea how to do it nor does their appear to be any manual. Here's the problem:

It's a VERY OLD Maxim universal remote. I'm talking at least 10 years old. It consists of 5 on/off rocker buttons and no other controls, buttons or switches.

Other than the word "Maxim" across the face, there is no wording anywhere else on the remote, no model number, serial number, etc. Even looked in the battery compartment.

Can anyone offer any suggestions? I've been scouring the net and I cannot find any mention of this thing. She is 84 and relies on the remote to switch between her dab radio and tv. I suggested getting her a new universal remote and she got upset because she fears she won't be able operate it.
