As much of an advocate as I am for control systems in general I love my Apple TV and it really is a MUCH better experience using the included remote or iPhone app to control it. The swipe gestures and voice control make it much easier and faster to navigate. Punching around on an arrow pad really makes the user experience much less fluid.
The typical array of buttons found on universal control systems (even on touch screens that could use swipe gestures and the like) are really getting to be outdated.
swipe on the ATV remote makes me want to break stuff!!! siri, is not to shabby. i use IP control exclusively and do not have these issues. what is the app and i will try it for you to see if it works.
