Still drinking Dewar's white scotch. Looking at Buffalo Trace and right from the site is this This deep amber whiskey has a complex aroma of vanilla, mint and molasses. Pleasantly sweet to the taste with notes of brown sugar and spice that give way to oak, toffee, dark fruit and anise. This whiskey finishes long and smooth with serious depth.
Do you guys really pick up on this? Or is it bs. It's funny how 2 things are always compared to something else. Alcohol including wine has all the wonderful yankee candle aromas and taste comparisons. At a recent wine walk I heard women talking about the wine and picking up on the oak. BS bimbo. When's the last time you tasted a section of an oak tree. And then there is meat. If it's not beef, pork or fish it all taste like chicken. Funny how we never talk of which soil, manure or area a potato was grown in. Maybe it is real. I don't pick up on it, but it is entertaining.
