Back a few years ago when there were issues with Pronto and window upgrades I requisitioned an old lap top running Windows Vista and use that as my dedicated Pronto programing machine - I keep it off line so it never upgrades - It is crude but works for what I need .... classic 10 year old windows interface - LOL
I got this Pronto from my installer when they first came out to demo as a consumer ... never got anything but the original installation disc (Actually ended up with three of them) - Always have done the "point at the other remote and learn" so I don't know how to program - When I've been stuck my work around has been borrow a newer learning remote and teach that one and then have the Pronto learn from the newer one
I'll try looking into the PEP as I love these remotes .... so does my 5 year old grandson - LOL
