I've been using Sling, Netflix, and CBS streaming for 6 months now. There are some things I miss, but I don't miss giving DirecTV any money anymore. It is a compromise, but I've learned to live with it. My girlfriend and her kids don't seem to mind either.
I am debating on giving Dish a shot next year, but some days I don't even turn on my TV until I lay down for the evening.
Dish has a smoking integrator deal. As soon as my contract is up with Comcast I’m going to give it a try!
