Based on the progress of standards, we all should be using CAT7 by now, but the only place I've yet to see it being installed is a huge Lexus dealership here in the Los Angeles area.

Are you guys using CAT7 for house network wiring yet? Where are you in the process of changing to it? Do you see CAT8 on the horizon yet (I don't). Just wondering.

This came up when a client's LG TV manual stated that if the TV is to be connected to the LAN, CAT7 should be used for the cabling.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
