Client will have a reception desk in their office with two doors behind it, each 10'h x 2.5'w. (Door thickness and construction is TBD.) The doors lead to a mechanical closet and will seldom be opened. The client has this concept that the top 6' or so of each door will be a digital display surface, and I need to figure out how to achieve this.
One concept we discussed is to inlay a large LED panel in each door. Another concept was to suspend a short throw projector from the ceiling in front of the doors. (In either case, BrightSign devices would probably be used to provide content.) There is no room for a projector behind the doors.
Overall, we hope for the solution to be nice and clean, produce a bright image and be reliable. They are looking to me for guidance on design and budget. Any ideas?

If it's not simple, it's not sufficiently advanced. |
