Vetting drivers means looking at background checks for DUIs, arrest records and theft/etc. convictions. None of that will show potential employer if the guy is tossing boxes over the fence or into a lawn. That will only come up after they're hired in a way of customer complains.
Guy may get fired, but unless charges are filed and conviction is made, next employer will only see employment time-frames, not cause for termination.
