I once wrote a short term paper (like most of my posts) on how to figure this out. I'll send it if I can find it. I won't share it with you other guys. You don't need it.
Meanwhile we provided an alternative than many of us had good success with controlling Sony TV's. And if Goldenrulze has found an issue I'd like to know what it is, I might run into the same issue. The world is full of patterns. Is it something he is doing to find the issue, or is it something we are doing to luckily miss the issue?
