Get a Carfax report- is it possible that this truck came from a place where they had hurricane damaged vehicles?

Carfax is a scam, most used cars are a scam. It is up to the repair shop or dealership to report issues with a vehicle. Same with insurance companies. Sometimes they let things “slip through the cracks”

With new car incentives, low to zero percent financing you are much further ahead purchasing new over used. Also sites like truecar etc are also scams. Dealerships have two numbers, the public number and the not so public number. Do 5 minutes of searching and you will find their true cost including holdbacks, which then allow you to negotiate up from that number. 9/10 times with some smart and carful research and negotiating you can negotiate out the initial depreciation so your always even or sometimes rightside up on the purchase vs loan.
