I’ve got to take Brendon’s side on this. Caseta is dirt cheap, as solid as Ra2, and quicker and easier to get working. The only issue is the 32 device limitation. And with Ra2 he would have the same problem with range. The difference is that for a couple hundred bucks, he could add a wired extender in the shed.

The new RA2 Select is just like Caseta!
You get to use RA2 switches instead of the ugly Caseta ones. 100 device limit. Programs with the app, just like Caseta. Not available thru big box stores. And can be upgraded to regular RA2 by simply changing the main repeater box(s).
The additional cost of the RA2 switches, is the only drawback. But for a small starting system, that doesn't amount to that much.
