Looking at all the reviews and videos, the 17" tablet is just too big.
That, coupled with the fact that I have a really good eyesight and can get the same content out of a smaller screen, due to higher resolution (DPI), puts my research in the 15" space.

Paul, I agree with you that I might have to give up on ethernet port.
I don't know if there is a single 2-in-1 that has one -- certainly not one I found.
I do a bunch of data transfers and setup of new networks where WiFi is not yet setup, thus the desire for hardline. I guess I'll have to learn to live with a dongle.
