Have been using 17.3" Dell laptop for last 3-5 years.
Use it a lot. 4-8 hours a day/night, 7 days a week.
Love the number pad on it.

- Looking for 15-17" 2-in-1 to see if I like the tablet mode and touchscreen.
Don't need a lot of power as I'm not doing any picture or video editing.
This old laptop is good enough to keep 12 browser windows open, Outlook and Control4 composer. Anything else (URC, Lutron, CCTV, network apps) open in just a few seconds.
Once open, everything works just as fast as supercomputer as far as I'm concerned.

- Would like to find one that has RJ45 built in.
I know i can use the dongle, but I rather have it built-in.

- Backlit keyboard is a must.

- Needs to be a native Windows, no apple please.
