How fast did the water come up?
I gather you weren't around when it happened, so when did you find out?
I left town heading to OKI and missed it. But, everything with all the tornado's went to the north of Greensboro anyway.
even though it was raining all day, the flooding actually came up really fast. The big building there is our landlord, who has a carpet store. About 4:00 the water started running in the street and he started to move vehicles. His employee got his own vehicle out, and the landlord followed him, but then took the employee back in to get another vehicle. When they went back in, before they could start the other truck, the water rose over 6” and became too high for him to drive his F150 through. It’s the truck at the bottom of the row. Where the trucks are parked is actually a good bit higher than the street, so it wasn’t to the trucks yet. I got there at 4:20 and the water was over my bumper. Final depth was to the tailgate release on my Frontier.
