Using e.g. IrScrutinizer you get the "correct" one according to the specification of the NEC1 signal. It is not unlikely that your device "understands a dialect only", in that it has its own ideas of repeats, as implemented in its own original remote. Similar to Lyndel, I would suggest that you experiment with with the fifth last (possibly also the very last) number: increase/decrease with a certain amount until you get the result you expect.

Another thing you can do is to re-capture the signal from the original remote with IrScrutinizer, but first disabling the repeat finder (Deselect Options -> Invoke repeat finder). What do you get then?
